There have been significant developments since the last report. The University has signed-off on all schematics designs and floor plans. The building will accommodate the Faculty's new Graduate School on levels four, five and six which will have state of the art teaching services and open student areas for graduate students to study and congregate.

The main reception and inquiries counter for the building will be located on level one, and will handle 80% of first level inquiries for the building. This will include first level departmental inquiries and assignment submissions.

Student consultation rooms on level one will facilitate the provision of course / subject advice, while open forum and welcoming "cafe" type environment gathering spaces for students, which are scattered throughout levels one to five will serve to increase the amenity in terms of light, air quality to both staff and students.

The Faculty's open access computer laboratory for undergraduate students will be located on level five.
