Planning your studies
The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a very flexible degree within which you have a wide range of choices in subject selection. This flexibility is in response to the demand from employers for students with a broad education.
We have prepared a Course Planning Guide to assist you with planning your studies. Your guide contains infromation to assist you in understanding your course structure and requirements. Sample course plans, enrichment opportunities and careers infromation is also provided.
The Course Planning Guide can be obtained from the Commerce Student Centre, or is available below to download.
There are two versions of the guide available according to when you commenced in your degree. Please ensure you follow the guide that is relavent to you. If you are unsure please seek advice from staff in the Commerce Student Centre.
2008+ students
Please use this guide only if you are commencing first year of the Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne in 2008.

Pre-2008 students
Please use this guide only if you commenced in the Bachelor of Commerce or a Bachelor of Commerce double degree at the University of Melbourne prior to 2008.

Please note: Students commencing the Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne in 2008 who have been awarded credit towards their degree for previous studies, should check with staff in the Commerce Student Centre for advice on which guide to refer to.
